Monitoring tools support the project plan. Two of the most common items to utilize in an implementation: Project Log and Issue Tracker. Sometimes it’s easiest to have these as one in the same (Same spreadsheet – different tabs), which is what we will build for you. The Project Log is to keep track of open items and deliverables, so your meetings can be most productive. The issue tracker is to monitor status during testing and through Go-Live.
We suggest using monitoring tools in conjunction with the Agendas product. Even if you don’t use the Project Log as a management (Monitoring) tool or way to convey status week to week with the client (You are maybe using the combination of the project plan and status agenda, as an example), the Issues Log is ALWAYS a must.
